ALCATRAZ MOTO

Its been a long time and happy new year

It has been a tough year, not just on the racing front, but also the school. We were preparing to have our first class in late 2004, but one of the student rigs, a BMW-Sputnik, was stolen while I was away to NM. The rig was barely three months new! It was never recovered. The result is a suspension of the operation. (See "Stolen Rig" on the navigation bar for more information)

As it turns out, the loss of the BMW-Sputnik had led to severe financial difficulty from which I am unable to recover. While I myself still retain the license to teach, but Alcatraz Moto, as it is now, will cease or suspend its operations. I also have experience some personal illness, and went on disability, thus preventing me from teaching. It is a shame, but I find that my health is more important and it is unfair to accept students and then on the day of instruction there is a chance of me unable to show up because of my illness. I still hope to be able to hold classes in the near future, but right now it only has a remote possibility.

Yours sincerely,

Instructor Vince
