During first practice section, DM rider Ken Winters (Scotts Valley) fell and broke his collarbone right in front of me. I have to cut short my practice to help get the injured Ken off the track and carried his DM back to the pits. Everybody in the pocketbike community came help out and showed great solidarity..
After Ken's accident, I was not in a mood to continue, so I practiced solo for the second practice section for a couple of laps before packing it up.
Good news is Ken was OK and on his way to a speedy recovery.
