Pictures of SRA-West Round 5 in Buttonwillow

Steve Stull (Driver) and Vince Ho (Passenger). RGM Kawasaki ZX10

Testing the clutch, we have already lost two practice sessions as the clutch refused to cooperate

Vince taking a last look of the track map
Finally leaving the pits and onto the track
At speed on the main straight for another practice lap..I am about to hang
off left again for the first left hander.
Our chain broke at the restart...and we were negotiating for a towing
service with one of the marshalls
Being pushed back to the pits after the race..or rather I was pushing
the outfit by using the front bumper of the truck
With Team Subculture not competing in Buttonwillow, I hooked up with rookie driver Steve Stull from San Diego. Steve owns the RGM Kawasaki ZX10 formerly owned by his teammate Leon VanOrsdale. This rig was a regular top three finisher back in the early 1990s. It was built by Team RGM (Rick Murray).
All in all a disappointing day. We managed to get around the clutch problem, raced half a lap before the race had to be restarted because Team Dawg Pound was stuck in the starting grid, unable to start and the marshalls were unable to push it out of the way quickly. Then our chain failed us on the second start. A wasted fourth position on the starting grid. An entire day of work ended up as a DNS and zero points. That's racing...
