Race finished. A job well done.
With Subculture racing not racing on round 12, and Jim not racing this weekend, I managed to hook up with Steve Stull's teammate veteran driver Leon VanOrsdale (San Diego) on his Baker-Honda Blackbird 1100.
The grid was drawn randomly and we started next to last. We managed to pass two rigs from the start, and finished ninth. After the start, the race was rather processional as Frank Riolo/Dennis Crueger won.
This is my first finish of the season, as I picked up 22 points for the championship. Next on the schedule will be back with Jim for the season finale double header in Buttonwillow next month.
