Vince is the only active Sidecar Trike Education Program (S/TEP) Instructor who is also a sidecar racer on the national level.

Vince has been sidecaring and triking for as long as he knew how to ride a motorcycle. Unlike most sidecarist, he actually learned how to ride a motorcycle so that he could ride a sidecar. Realising how important safety is when it comes to three wheel motorcycles, and that there is a lack of instructors and schools teaching how to ride a three wheeler in the west in general, Vince became an instructor through the Evergreen Safety Council's S/TEP Instructor Prep Course. Vince was also involved with sidecar racing of various classes, believing that safe street riding and superior racing skills are one and the same. Vince favorite quote is "Sudden accidents are only for the unprepared."
